PRINCESS ANNE HIGH SCHOOL 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
APRIL 23-24, 2004

Dear Alumni, It's hard to believe that it has been 50 years since Princess Anne High School opened it doors. In June 2004, we will celebrate our 50th graduating class. It is time to get together for fun, festivities and fellowship. Our reunion celebration will take place at Princess Anne High School and The Pavilion. Addresses and emails of all interested 1954-2004 graduates are needed.

Our planned activities are as follows:
Friday, April 23, 2004 > Meet/Greet Night--Open House at PA (tours, displays, and media presentation) 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 24, 2004 > Carnival on the school grounds (morning) 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Cocktail Party/Dance at the Pavilion evening (hors d'oeuvres provided - cash bar) 8:00 p.m. - 12:00 p.m.
The cost to attend the cocktail party/dance will be $35.00 per person. All other activities are free. If you are planning to attend the activity at the Pavilion, please make checks or money orders payable to Princess Anne High School 50th Anniversary. To secure the $35.00 price your payment must be received by March 1, 2004. If received after March 1, 2004 and by April 1, 2004, the price will be $40.00. Payment submitted after April 1st and before the final deadline of April 15, 2004, will be $45.00. Sincerely, 50th Anniversary Committee

16/Dec/2002: I received
the phone call today from Virginia Beach! I was told that John Gordon
has beaten lymphoblastic lymphoma. The news was filled with happiness
and relief. I know it has been a long hard road for John and his family.
It has been on the minds of all his friends and the VBSAlumni members.
I am so thankful for the news. I'm sure the road to recovery will be hard
and full of anticipation. Please keep John and his family in you thoughts
as he journeys down this road to recovery! This is a blessing and timely
for this holiday season! Thank you for showing your support! VBSAlumni
is truely a organization of friends. Not just this high school or that
high school but Virginia Beach Alumni. Our State's and Country's BEST!!

7/3/2002 : Today Our
site http://www.vbsalumni.org has been accepted to be entered into YAHOO's
searchable database. Our site will be searchable after July 5th. This
was a big accomplishment as YAHOO is very hard and time consuming to get
into.
7/2/2002 : One
of our fellow VBSAlumni / friend has been diagnosed with lymphoblastic
lymphoma.John Gordon (PA Class of 1991) has started chemotherapy on 6/29/02.
He will be in the hospital for 4 - 6 weeks and the chemo
will run for 6 months. The cure rate with initial treatment is between
50 and 70%. The doctors are very optimistic that he'll make it through
just fine. To leave John a message or your thoughts
please sign his Get Well Log!!. ,
